Like the 2014 Cabernet, this single vineyard Shiraz was picked late to maximise the flavour. This is a dense red colour wine with a perfumed nose of white pepper, black plums and subtle spicy oak. The palate is round and plush with round soft mouth feel and fine tannins on the finish It was aged for 15 months in French oak barrels. Best before 2026.

Selected from the Emu Block, the Shiraz came in later than in previous years, on the 1st May. It was then crushed and fermented in open-top stainless steel fermenters, then racked into barrel, 23% new French oak barriques with the balance going into seasoned oak for 18 months.
